Forgot to mention that I recently appeared on the great new “A Lot’s Happened Since Yesterday” podcast. It was a lively conversation that I wanted to share with my fans and to help get the word out. Among other things, Ralph and Cody from the band Ravenscroft and I discuss:
Exemption #AB2257 for California’s AB5 Law which turned the adult (and other gig workers’) lives upside down.
My days as a roller-skating bikini model and the path to adult entertainment.
The negative effects of piracy and how it’s changed the music and adult industry, forever.
My passion for animal and pet rights.
Getting trapped in Las Vegas as a result of the pandemic.
Growing up in the OC and purposely getting kicked out of high school.
I hope everyone enjoys this wide-ranging conversation as much as we did. If you have any questions or comments, please leave a comment! I see them all and enjoy answering my fans. Thanks, Ralph and Cody, for such a fun conversation.
As promised here is part 2 of my very favorite female co-star list. If you missed it, be sure to have a look at part 1. I’ve been having a great time working on this list and hope you’ve enjoyed reading it just as much. Also, be sure to check out my new Amber Lynn’s Favorite Costars gallery – which I’ve just launched to add further content to the main list!
Jeanna Fine A friend during our time in the industry, I was also Jeanna Fine‘s first girl/girl costar in 1986’s She Comes in Colors. If her amazing body, enthusiastic performances and deep, sexy voice weren’t enough, Miss Fine never stopped impressing me with all the ways she changed her style over her 2+ decades in Adult. And every new look was as scorching hot as the previous version. We also had a lot of fun working together, for the last time (so far) in 2002’s No Man’s Land: Legends.
Nina Hartley Whether considering her looks, unbelievable posterior, generous nature in terms of sex education or her longevity as a relevant industry personality – Nina Hartley’s impact and legacy in Adult cannot be denied. It’s even better when you got to work with her, as I did in this funny clip from 1989’s Battle of the Titans where we try to verbally one-up each other before the film’s action scenes get started. Our girl/girl scene in 1986’s Getting L.A.’d was one of the best times I ever had on a set. I’ve also appeared more recently on her terrific website, Nina.com, and you can tell her Amber sent you. Never a dull Nina-moment, and she always leaves me with a smile!
Sharon Mitchell In possession of one of the hottest… let’s call it “sexual auras”… I’ve ever encountered, Sharon Mitchell and I spent so much time together through the 80s that we collective became known in the industry as the “Toxic Twins”, and our girl/girl scene in 1986’s Hollywood Harlots was a mind-scrambler. Her work regarding sexual health and regular testing for performers was absolutely groundbreaking, and everyone in the business owes her a debt of gratitude to this day. Sharon Mitchell, I love and salute you.
Teri Weigel You know her, you love her, she’s Teri Weigel. A former Playboy Bunny who went on to take the scene by storm, Teri’s incredible physique and glamor girl looks were matched only by her bubbly personality. She was among my closest friends and the scene we did together along with Jeanna Fine in 2002’s No Man’s Land: Legends (Nina Hartley was also in the movie) is among my all time favorites of the last three decades. There’s a behind the scenes clip from that set in the Amber Lynn Videos section of this site which I highly recommend. Teri and I also toured the feature dance circuit together under the name “T&A”. Love you, Teri!
That was a lot of fun to write and reminisce over. What do you think of my 8 choices? It wasn’t easy to select just eight, so don’t be surprised if there’s eventually a part three (or even four). If you have any questions about these ladies, or any other feedback, please make sure you’re on the post’s actual page then – leave a comment.
And definitely don’t forget to check out part 1! Hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Without a doubt, the number one question I’m asked here on AmberLynnXXX.com is, “Who were your favorite female/male adult film costars?” It’s high time I sat down to provide everyone with an answer.
You’ll be happy to know the list is a long one so I’ll be doing this via two parts and in alphabetical order – because with all the beautiful women I’ve worked with over the last 3 decades, it’s too damn hard to pick just a handful and play favorites. I’ve also just added the new gallery – Amber Lynn’s Favorite Co-Stars – to make this list even more exciting for my fans.
April Adams Working in the industry for about 10 years, April Adams was as sweet as they come and a pleasure to work with. Starting as a dancer, she moved to Los Angeles specifically to begin a career in adult films. Our best known scene together is from 1995’s Babewatch 3 and I might have to watch it again myself now that I’m remembering how steamy it turned out.
Danielle Martin Filming with Danielle Martin was something I always looked forward to, and I remember telling her more than once she was “super-hot”. We both joined the adult industry around the same time, and my favorite scene we did together was in 1986’s Miami Spice. I was sad to hear of her passing in 2011 and will always treasure our friendship and memories.
Erica Boyer What more can be said about the amazingErica Boyer? She was just… a goddess… who lit up any room with personality, a love of dancing (often on film) and her undeniable sexuality. We had two scenes together in 1986’s Sheer Bedlam (including a F/M/F with Jamie Gillis) and, although we didn’t work together much after that, remained good friends. We also shared the same cameo in the Hollywood blockbuster 52 Pick-Up starring Roy Scheider. Sadly, Erica left this world in 2009 but her impact on the industry will never be forgotten.
Honey Wilder Pioneering the “MILF” category which has become so popular in modern times way back in the 1980s, Honey Wilder was a huge star in the industry known as much for her acting ability as her amazing body. Our scene together in 1986’s Cheek-to-Cheek is probably my favorite, and I’ll always be grateful to Honey for her advice as much as her friendship. We also ganged up on Steve Drake in Beverly Hills Wives. An incredibly classy lady and amazing co-star.
That’s all I can manage for right now as the memories flooding back have me very distracted at the moment (wink). Don’t worry, I’ll be back with part two over the next few days and can’t wait to share the rest of my favorite female costar list. If you haven’t seen it, last year I also posted a video running down my favorite male adult costars.
Are there some names you expected to see which are absent from the list so far? What about Nina? Where’s Teri? Stay tuned for the next installment to see who else made my list of famous female colleagues.
Hope you enjoyed the list so far, and if you have any questions or personal memories of the ladies above, please leave a comment below. And click the post title if you’re reading this from the main news page to find the comment section.
Amber Lynn is live right now with Porsha Carrera, Spike Irons and Sofie Marie. Tune in now (or later) below to enjoy the latest show.
You can also listen to Amber Lynn‘s latest return to the airwaves on Soundcloud. We’re happy to be back in the broadcast business, and hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!
Last week I was absolutely honored to be the subject of The Rialto Report’s 98th podcast, entitled “Amber Lynn: Rebel Yell“, and I can’t believe how well it turned out! Stories from the industry’s heyday started flowing – and I think it makes for a hell of a listen.
If you’ve never heard of TRR, the site is “…a series of podcasts dedicated to expanding the historical record on the adult entertainment industry between the early 1960s and the mid-1980s. We take a special interest in adult film production in New York during this period but are also interested in the industry in other geographical areas. The project is named after the Rialto Theatre, New York’s oldest continually operating exploitation theater.
But TRR isn’t limited to podcasts. You’ll also find a wealth of written interviews, vintage galleries of adult industry performers and personalities, plus a variety of other articles any fan of Amber Lynn and the golden age of porn is sure to appreciate. In the last year alone, they’ve launched podcasts on and with the likes of Randy Spears, John Stagliano, Mary Stuart and more.
Subjects discussed in the 104 minute podcast include my entry into the industry, my beloved big brother – Buck Adams, favorite male and female costars, family history I’ve never spoken about publically before – and a whole lot more. I even mention this little ol’ site a time or two. Have a listen then let me know what you thought in the comments.
And if you enjoyed the many stories and anecdotes, stay tuned for my upcoming autobiography. The podcast is just a tantilizing taste of what’s to come. Love you guys!
Hello, beloved fans. Did you know you can keep up with and follow me on most major social media sites? Here’s a list of the Amber Lynn accounts where I interact with fans and share the day-to-day events from my life – and more!
The time has come. Yes, I’m finally sitting down to write about my life and all the outrageous adventures from my four decades (and counting) in the adult entertainment industry.
I’ve been working on a draft for years, but could use a little help getting it published and across the finish line. The IndiGoGo campaign for my Autobiography will help bring this wild story to my beloved fan base while also offering everyone who participates amazing incentives and cool ways they can interact with me – you can even get involved in the book’s content by contributing to the foreward as one of the donation perks!
I hope you’re interested in reading the finished project, and might even help me reach my goal of getting a well-thumbed copy on the bedroom shelf of everyone who counts me as one of their favorite starlets.
I’m beyond excited, and I hope you are too. Visit the project’s page now to learn more about what readers can expect – and to review all the fun perks I’ve set up for my fans, including:
Personally autographed 8×10 – $40 contribution
Personal thank you note – $100
Thank you phone call – $250
Write a foreward for the book – $1000
In Person Autograph Meet/Greet – $2,500
Dinner and dancing with Amber – $5,000
Potential branded sponsors can also have their logo printed on the back cover of the book as the top-end perk for $20,000.
That’s just a handful of the available “thank you” options for contributors, and there are plenty below the $40 level. Help me realize my goal and I’ll enjoy showing you some appreciation in return as a bonus. I look forward to interacting with project participants, whether I’m signing a poster you’ve had in your attic since 1986 or meeting you at a fancy LA restaurant for a one-on-one experience!
Hello, guys and girls! I have a favor to ask. While I truly love all the emails I receive from fans, I’d like it even more if you’d leave comments on my posts instead. It’s the best way to send me a message because I’ll see it more quickly than an email, and – most important of all – I’m more likely to reply back to you.
My email is screened due to SPAM and for business reasons, so if you really want to drop me a line, say hello, ask me a question, etc. then leaving post comments is the way to go. Look forward to hearing from you! – Love, Amber.
